On 22nd April The National Employers made a ‘full and final offer’ of 3.20% to the unions in respect of the NJC pay award for 2025/26.
All 3 of the recognised trade unions for this pay award have responded to say that they will be balloting their members, with a recommendation to reject the offer.
UNISON and GMB’s ballots will run to 20th June, whilst we are unsure about Unite’s end date at the time of writing.
Further updates will be provided by WwS once some progress is made, although we are bracing ourselves for a yet another long and protracted negotiation period, which will then come with the usual Universal Credit issues that have plagued backdated NJC pay awards in recent years…
