I am also pleased to announce with immediate effect, that Chris Yates has joined our HR Team, to provide educational management support to WWS’s customers and to the Company.
I have known Chris for well over 20 years, having first met him when he was the headteacher of St Hilda’s CE High School in Sefton Park, Liverpool. Under Chris’s leadership, that school became one of the top 100 performing comprehensives in the UK.
Since his retirement from headship, Chris has continued to remain active, through work with an educational examinations board and with the Liverpool Anglican Diocese, as a governor (now chair) of a primary school since 2002 and a secondary high school in Lowton, Wigan LA.
There is no doubt that Chris, who is also a successful author of educational text books and a performance management specialist, will make an excellent contribution to the Company’s work.
Further plans
As reported elsewhere, we are currently undergoing a full review of the business, in the light of customer needs and future plans. In this respect, we expect to make further announcements about our staffing structure soon. Watch this space!
