Changes to the Flexible Working Act regulations came into force from 6th April 2024.

The key change is that the right to request flexible working will become a day-one right and employees will no longer need 26 weeks continuous service to apply.

Employees will also be able to make two applications in a 12 month timeframe and must receive a response within two months. Flexible Working policies and procedures will need to be updated to reflect these changes.
