Have you heard about Pensions Dashboards? This is a new government-led project which will allow individuals to see their pensions information, including their State Pension, for free in one place online at a time of their choosing. The ultimate goal of Pensions Dashboards is to reunite savers with lost or forgotten pensions, as well as giving people the ability to access information easily, which will hopefully result in an increase to individuals’ awareness and understanding of their pension information, enabling better planning for retirement.
Each pension fund will have their own ‘staging date’ in which they need to go live on Pensions Dashboards by, with the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) pencilled in for October 2025.
