In March 2022, a model pay structure in respect of the 22/23 and 23/24 teachers’ pay values was submitted for review by the statutory consultees. The pay model reinforces the Education Secretary’s belief that qualified teacher starting salaries should begin at £30,000 p.a. by 1st September 2023.
